Last weekend, two of our incredible Stratus employees, Todd Fletcher and Ron Hilson, participated in the Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer ride. Their dedication and hard work paid off as they raised an impressive $6,700 in support of 16 different cancer treatment facilities. Since 2009, the ride has raised an astounding $100 million. Wow! And this past weekend alone, the Tour raised close to $7.5 million.
Did you know that over 60 Albertans are diagnosed with cancer each day? The funds raised by the Tour support cutting-edge research and care right here in our province. Todd and Ron rode in memory of their fathers and for everyone affected by cancer, proving that we are all in this fight together.
Despite the scorching heat wave that hit Alberta, these two heroes biked an astonishing 200 kilometers! Their commitment and perseverance are truly inspirational. Todd and Ron, your dedication is a testament to the strength and spirit of the Stratus Family. Congratulations on your remarkable achievement!

Way to go boys
We are thrilled to celebrate Joey Tetarenko’s induction into the 2024 Ted Knight Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame! His dedication and hard work, both on and off the ice, truly exemplify his day-to-day work here at Stratus, helping drive our success. He’s a true team player, always putting others first. It's pretty awesome to work with a former NHL player who brings the same passion and commitment to everything he does. Congrats, Joey we are so proud to have you on our team!

We are proud to share our latest work at Heidelberg Materials in Edmonton, where we are contributing to a scaled-down carbon capture system, a proof of concept for the upcoming CCUS project. Our dedicated crew of 6-8 is working diligently on:
Installing underground conduit and grounding grid
Setting up cable trays
Installing lighting and fire alarm systems
Laying power, instrumentation, and control cabling
Configuring PLCs and marshalling cabinets
Executing an extensive electrical heat trace scope
Integrating ship-loose power and control skids/systems from overseas
This marks our third significant project with Heidelberg Materials, and we’re proud to be part of such an innovative and impactful initiative.

What an awesome two days at the 3rd annual Helping Hands Hockey Tournament!
The event began with a powerful story from Arisa and her mom, which moved many of us to tears and filled us with inspiration and hope. Despite the emotional start, there were lots of laughs, fun and a little competition during the hockey tournament.
We sincerely thank all the players, sponsors, volunteers, and spectators who made this event a success. Although the tournament has ended, our fundraising efforts are ongoing. The donation link is open until the end of this week, and we appreciate any additional contributions. Every dollar helps make a difference for these children.

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Charmed Resorts on an enchanting project, creating storybook-themed cabins in the Crowsnest Pass!
Our team is excited to tackle the unique challenge of the electrical installations for some of these cabins in Lethbridge. A key aspect of our work involves strategically planning interconnect junctions in hidden spots to ensure a seamless, themed installation. Not an easy task but Stratus is up for the challenge!
We are also working with Charmed Resorts to provide efficient heating solutions with off-site wireless control and customizable color options for switches and receptacles.
To guarantee the highest standards of quality and safety, Charmed Reports is also using Stratus’s comprehensive QAQC packages to secure CSA approvals. Additionally, we manage all site service installations and work closely with the Municipality and inspection authorities to ensure everything is ready for occupancy.
This is a pretty neat job for Stratus, and we are excited to help bring these fairy tale cabins to life!
