Its halfway through the year and it’s time for us to re-group, re-view and re-define how we are going to continue to be successful for the rest of the year. This years Calgary/Edmonton Foreman meetings brought us excitement as our team looks forward to a busy but fun second half of the year. It was great to give the group a refresher on safety, QAQC, purchasing and what the work landscape looks like in a post covid world. We have an enthusiastic team ready to accept the challenge and make our customers lives easy.
A big thank you to our office team for taking the time to present to this crew and for sharing your knowledge on how to make our daily operations work more efficient with safety top of mind. ... See MoreSee Less
We know it is not easy working in the field, and we wanted to get out to our Vulcan site to thank not only the Stratus crew, but all the personnel on site for all their hard work!
Constructing a solar farm can certainly build up an appetite and we were happy to bring our Big Rig BBQ out and feed over 100 workers on site. It was a great afternoon, and we can’t thank our team and the rest of the crew at Vulcan for their hard work and team effort.
A big thank you to Dave Smith, Dan Ross, Gerald Mabbott, Leslie Erdahl, and Todd Fletcher for setting up and cooking delicious Burgers/smokies and for taking the time to support our field staff.
National Indigenous Peoples Day takes place on the summer solstice, June 21. It’s a special occasion to learn more about the rich and diverse cultures, voices, experiences and histories of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
Learning about Indigenous Peoples, places and experiences is a step forward each Canadian can take on the path to reconciliation.
On this day, Stratus E&I invite our employees, their families, and our customers to learn and celebrate the amazing cultures and history of the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit people for a better understanding and the creation of a better and more inclusive Canada.

There is no better way to spend a Sunday then playing a great game of golf, but what is even better is playing for a great cause.
Our team in Edmonton had the opportunity to golf in the Generously giving back’s- 5th annual charity tournament. A great charity organization that works with Goodwill Ambassadors who travel to destinations and personally distribute funds to beneficiaries for food, clothing, and other necessities, both locally and globally.
Our crew in Edmonton spent an afternoon volunteering to tidy our community’s streets with the Capital City Clean Up. We were well equipped to clean litter safely and efficiently through the efforts of the program developed by the City of Edmonton.
As a team, we are always happy to help those who need it most, to help polish Edmonton’s streets to make the city sparkle is something we were proud to do! An enormous thanks to our team for eagerly giving back to the communities they are a part of, we mean it when we say There is No Stratus Without Us. Big thanks to Jake Cormier for taking the initiative on this one, and to Richard Owens, Chris Zook, Ryan Bowden, and Julian Shaw for their support and hard work.
